Information of the province

”Nórþa vinda kall, berga hröe, skoga djúpe óg fólke  lúe. Met sværda óg yóxar skærpta óg shjölda rúndu. Bráhve ærú soner óg dottríra af Hráfnírheima.”

”North wind cold, mountains high, forests deep and people bright. With swords and axes sharp and shields round. Brave are the sons and daughters of Hráfnírheim.”

Hráfnírheim is the northernmost province of the continent Cráldaurilious and is known for it’s beautiful but yet savage nature and people. Nórþians, also known as Norþmen, live by the Oath of Óþastr (eda af Óþastr), which commands the people to live by the sword and that they should also die by the sword.  Hráfnírheim has many holds and keeps that was once ruled under one crown, the Crown of the Raven (Hráfníra corhúnna), but has since about 280 years been without a king. All holds are ruled by jarls (jarlúr) and keeps are ruled by the thanes (þannér). All jarls have a housecarl (heímá karl) for personal protection and at least 5 thanes to be able to control the people.

There have been conflicts for ages for the right of the province. Trolls claims that they were the first to reach the province and that Hráfnírheim is theirs by birthright.  The Dark elves wages war, due to the destruction of Sháiloen 914E: 4A, to take the homelands of the Norþmen and also to enslave them.
Hráfnírheim neighbours to 6 provinces and have difficult relationships with all of them.




Hráfnírheim är den nordligaste provinsen i Cráldaurilious och är känd för sitt vackra, men vilda natur och folk. Norþianer, även kallade norþmän, lever enligt Óþastr ed (eda af Óþastr), vilket innebär att man skola leva med svärd i hand och man skola dö med svärd i hand. Hráfnírheim har flera län och långtorn som styrdes av samma krona, korpens krona (Hráfníra corhúnna), men har sedan ca 280 år varit utan kung.  Alla län styrs av jarlar (jarlúr) och alla långtorn av thaner (þannér). Alla jarlar skyddas av en huskarl och minst 5 thaner som ska kontrollera folket i länen.

Konflikter om rätten till provinsen har pågått i flera år. Trollen påstår sig vara de som anlände först till Hráfnírheim och att provinsen är deras medfödda rättighet.  Mörkalverna förbereder sig för strid, då Shailoen förstördes år 914E: 4A, för att ta över provinsen och förslava hennes folk.
Hráfnírheim gränsar till 6 provinser och har svåra förhållanden med dem.

Hej och välkomna till Hráfnírheim, en provins fylld av mod, äventyr, drakar, oknytt, politiska konflikter och kanske ett och annat NorÞmanna fylledaska! Under denna oroliga tid år 15E:5A behöver vi en konung, för att få vårt krigströtta land på fötter. Högalverna har lovat att inte väcka strid mot oss norÞmæn, men trollen i Trollsteinheim är fortfarande ett hot, då de ej har skrivit eller lovat sådana fredslöften, men värst är mörkalverna, som smider planer om att inta vårt rike, då Sháiloen fallit ungefär 100 år tidigare (914E:4A).  Så vässa era yxor och svärd eller brygg mjöd, för snart börjar en berättelse, som kommer att sjungas och tälas om tills NorÞmans andan äre Död! - Hvrankel Pælsfagre 

Hi and welcome to Hráfnírheim, a province filled with courage, adventures, dragons, mythological people, political conflicts and maybe one and another NorÞman's drunk-brawl! In these worrying times in the year of 15E:5A, we are in need of a king to get our war-tired country back on its feet. The High elves have promised not to wage war against us NorÞmen, But the trolls of Trollsteinheim are still a threat, due to them not agreeing to peace, but the dark elves are the worst, due to them gathering up to take our homeland, because Sháiloen had fallen about 100 years before (914E:4A). So sharpen your axes and swords or brew the spicy mead, because soon a saga will begin, which will be sung and told about till the spirit of the NorÞman is dead!
